The Unity Band

From traditional jazz tunes, to brass band rockers, to classic New Orleans soul, funk and RnB, this band can set a mood or liven up any party. Repertoire can also include current and classic pop, rock and top 40 favorites to make sure everyone feels included in the good time. Band size can be customized to fit your event. A standard layout for a great dance party would be a 7 piece with Lead Male Vocal/Saxophone, Lead Female Vocal, Trumpet, Guitar, Keyboard, Bass and Drum Set. We can also provide groups as small as a solo artist or duo and as large as your event demands with additional horns, vocalists and more. Bands are led by Robin Clabby on saxophone and vocals and feature an A-list of some of Philadelphia’s finest musicians.

Robin spent 14 years in New Orleans, LA. touring nationally and internationally with the Brass-a-holics as well as freelancing with a long list of other artists. He has recently moved to the Northeast and is currently living in Cherry Hill, NJ, just outside of Philadelphia. Robin has recorded on albums by PJ Morton, Zhu, the Wild Magnolias and many more and appeared in articles in Downbeat, Rolling Stone and USA Today, as well as in nationally syndicated shows on CBS, HBO, TLC, the Travel Channel and PBS. He has performed for major events and associations worldwide. He performs, records and teaches lessons on Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bari Sax.
