Justin Moore – Trombone, Bass Trombone & Euphonium
Justin Moore is a freelance trombone player and passionate music educator in the Philadelphia area. He is on the faculties of Temple University, Rutgers University-Camden, the Delaware Governor’s School for Excellence, and has an active private studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was also previously on the faculties of the University of Delaware, Immaculata University, Settlement Music School, Play On, Philly!, and has been a guest instructor at Swarthmore College and Haverford College.
As a performer, he has worked with the Philly POPS, Philadelphia Ballet, Opera Philadelphia, Opera Delaware, Allentown Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Bay Atlantic Symphony, Ocean City Pops, Symphony in C, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Curtis Symphony Orchestra, and more. Though classically trained, Justin enjoys making music across all genres and has also appeared with groups like the Philly POPS Big Band, Larry McKenna Jazz Orchestra, and a variety of commercial artists in venues throughout the northeast.
Justin received a Master of Music degree from Temple University, where he studied with Matt Vaughn, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Louisiana State University, where he studied with Dr. Jeannie Little. He currently resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife, oboist Jocelyn Moore, and their son, Daniel.
