Gibby’s Joint
 
While Gibby’s Joint as an ensemble may be a relative newcomer to the city, the musicians who comprise it certainly are not. At its core is the Philly based folk duo of Brandon Dennis (voice) and Brian Z London (guitar/drums). Performing together as Gibby’s Joint since 2022, they explore timeless classics and hidden gems from a wide variety of genres. Together they do the work of interpreting each song, honoring both the original and their own artistic visions, to create a shared experience for both players and audience. At a GJ gig, you are as likely to hear a song from Nirvana or Prince as you would one from the catalog of traditional folk music or a classic jazz standard.

Gibby’s Joint values the building of community among artists, musicians and audience members. To this end, they regularly perform at community events and are frequently joined by other musicians.
