COVID-19 UPDATE

I am aware of our members concerns and uncertainty surrounding the numerous performances that have been cancelled. Our first concern is the safety and well-being of the members and our greater community. Here are some resources that you might find helpful during this difficult time period.

There is a freelance artist website available HERE. On this website you’ll find general resources, information for the advocacy for freelance musicians, emergency funding for freelance artists, navigating unemployment (for Theatre artists) and much more.

Additionally, you can sign up for informational texts from the City of Philadelphia by texting “COVIDPHL” to 888777. The City of Philadelphia will be sending instant updates to those who register.

We encourage people to be mindful of social distancing during this challenging time.

We will update you on the operational status of the Local office. If the office needs to close, we have the ability to access all of our phone calls, voice messages and computer data remotely.
